Sheridan Estate is a historic fourth generation family owned property featuring a Victorian farmhouse nestled amongst giant redwood trees and surrounded by wooded hills, green meadows and a winding river with a sandy beach. The 385 acre estate was homesteaded by the Sheridan family in 1840 and remains in its original majestic form against a background of redwood trees and with lawns and gardens surrounding the house. The Victorian farmhouse stands proud and tall, constructed with redwood timber from the property. The house is painted white and trimmed in green with its matching original balconies, railings and redwood front porches. The newly restored barn was built in 1881 and quickly became a hideout for the notorious stagecoach and train robber, Black Bart.
Traditionally, always a welcome stop for ranchers, cattle drivers and covered wagons of the days of the old west, Sheridan Estate still opens its warmth and grace to those who wish to create special memories of their own. The diversity of the property offers flexibility in planning an event. Brides can design their day around the tented meadow,
a sandy beach on the banks of the Russian River, an expansive deck surrounded by redwood trees, or the lawn and garden amidst the enchanting Victorian white and green trimmed house.

Sheridan Estate is located just west of Guerneville on Hwy 116 in Sonoma County. The Estate sits in the heart of the Russian River wine region between the quaint towns of Monte Rio and Duncans Mills, eight miles east of the Pacific coastline.
